The Women's Golf Handbook

Golf is becoming an increasingly popular game among women and young girls. This is a guide to golf for the female player, featuring colour photographs, illustrations and step-by-step diagrams. It is designed to teach the basics of the game for the absolute beginner, as well as providing lessons on playing technique and curing common faults for the improver, and advanced strategy for the more expert player. There is practical advice on the equipment the beginner needs to get started, from choosing the right clubs, the basic grip and stance and building up a good swing, to developing an efficient practice routine. It also features biographies and statistics of some of the world's greatest female players, a pictorial journey around some of the world's most famous and beautiful courses, and a reference guide to the handicapping system and playing in competitions.
