VossPlot: A software tool for scientific and technical graphics

Rate this book
VossPlot, or VP, is a software tool for scientific and technical graphics, the sort of 2-dimensional drawings that are used in many technical journals. It also includes many text processing, color, mathematical manipulation, and image display capabilities that make it ideal for generating presentation graphics, including slides and overhead transparencies. VP provides immediate interactive views and analysis of data as well as convenient composition of publication-quality figures from the data. The user-controlled graphic attributes allow customized output to conform to the most exacting of publication standards. VP was developed by active physicist and fractal graphics artist Richard Voss over a period of more than 12 years at IBM Research.
