Lawyer turned golf pro Kieran Lenahan wakes up in the hospital, thinking he's been knocked out by a golf ball during a tournament. Only he wasn't... he'd finished his round... he's mysteriously two hours away... and the woman he was with... is dead. As Publisher's weekly says, "Even non-golfers will delight in Lenahan's love of the game and the fairway world." What reviewers say about Conor Daly and his Kieran Lenahan "A FAST-PACED MYSTERY" —THE NEW YORK TIMES "DALY SCORES A BIRDIE" —PUBLISHER'S WEEKLY Conor Daly is the pen name of a practicing attorney.
Conor Daly is the pseudonym used by Goodreads author Kevin Egan for a three-book golf mystery series that appeared several years ago. The series featured Kieran Lenahan, a golf pro whose former life as an attorney bedevils his attempts to compete on the PGA Tour. The series comprised Local Knowledge, Buried Lies, and Outside Agency. Although each title is a well-known golf term, the stories did not require any golf knowledge on the part of the reader. In 1996, with many golf novels appearing in bookstores, the Booklist review of Buried Lies stated: “Good golf scenes and a believable mystery make this second Kieran Lenahan novel the best golfing mystery on the market.”
The actual books in the series are only available only on the secondary market. However, e-book versions are available from ReAnimus Press.
