Children's book with rhyme and repetition. Nice story about what animals like to eat.

I loved reading this book at my Nan's house when I was little. I remember one of the animals likes to eat "seeds of the weed". Happy memories!

Perhaps people don't think about books they read as a child. I do because they remind me of my childhood and the feeling that I had reading those books. As a child you read your books over and over, if you like them that sets the tone for your future life as a reader. I remember this book fondly. It's one of the first books I read by myself. It brings me back to those days where my friends, my world was between the covers of a book. I recently repurchase hated the book and a few things surprised me: first- the book originally cost 59 cents. That surprised me. Books were special, you only got a few and you cared for them and treasured them. Second- I remember spending a lot of time looking at the pictures. I was surprised, but then I remembered, all the pictures are black and white accented with green but I loved those pictures! Finally, I never knew it was a book designed and written specifically to support new readers.
I just remember the wonderful feeling that reading brought me
