This book is a follow up to The Roswell Women however this book only focuses on Allison, none of the other women from the previous book. I found that frustrating, there were loose ends that weren't tied up in the last book and they were completely ignored in this one. One thing I found frustrating is how the main character ends up and a huge flaw I find in Statham's writing is the lack of communication between characters and how problems could be easily solved or avoided all together because of this. I felt frustrated with the ending as well, again it feels like there were loose ends that were never addressed.
Overall though, I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it.

What a wonderful story about the past. Fun to read as I live where this story started. Allison sure lived a full life with many ups and downs. Highly recommended this series even if you are not a big historical fiction reader.
