This book, though now out of print, will always be close to my heart. It introduced me, thanks to Professor Ralph Johnson, to the methods of propaganda.

Dennis Rohaytn's chapter, in particular -- "Propaganda Talk," delighted as it terrified. Written as a mock interview with a paranoid, housebound expert in propaganda, Rohatyn calls it out: "It is as ineffable as the Holy Spirit or, more accurately, the Demonic Spirit."

Trudy, your book blew my young freshman mind.
