Fred's interests included the American Civil War, aikido, and the novels of Raymond Chandler. He was a semifinalist in the 1997 Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions.

A simply written book giving a good overview of Tuberculosis. Suitable for younger readers, too.
Good glossary in the back explaining any words the reader might not have come across.
