I really enjoyed seeing her scripture references throughout each chapter. I did find her adoption story a bit boring and not sure what her surgery had anything to do with it. I feel the adoption world has changed a lot since she was adopting and that people should not expect their process to look like hers. I found the end chapters to be the most interesting and helpful. Particularly with her choices on scripture and her reflection on them. Not my favorite read but I would still recommend it to Christian hopeful adoptive parents.

Great resource
This book is not only a real experience but it's full of great advice . Then it brings in some great scriptures to help move through each step of the adoption process.

If you are adopting, this is a must read.
No matter what route you choose for your adoption, your heart will need to follow this journey and be reminded that you are riding tandem with God. You are not driving. Take a deep breath. Let it go and let Him.
