This book was not as good as I was expecting. The stories were mainly myths and legends cobbled up from newspaper reports and other people's research. Even when real people were involved, there was often no sense of time as dates were rarely given. Sometimes you get the feeling that she is telling a story that would be worth pursuing but she doesn't pursue it; just ends with a lot of 'I wonder's. This could have been so much better.
I found this book to be interesting and all new stories to me apart from one or two that I knew about before Hand with reading about other ghost stories and mysteries. I always enjoy learning about mysteries that happen around different areas, but more so aboutt the area where I live myself. It's the knowledge of how some of these mysteries and murder will never be solved, of how they will remain like this for the rest of time unless somehow evidence is found.
