Bella is fed up with her abusive psychotic long-term boyfriend Drew. After he beats her and leaves her for dead, she's finally had enough. Barely escaping from him, Bella finds herself for the first time trying to make it on her own. That is until she runs into Domo. He's fine as hell and one of the most powerful men in Miami. Domo turns her on in ways she didn't think she could be. He brings her into his world, and she can't help but fall into his web, and she hasn't stopped falling ever since. Even though she starts over and moves on, she can't seem to get Drew to leave her alone. After he tracks her down and rapes her, she becomes pregnant, and that pushes her further into Domo's arm and under his protection. Domo offers her more than she could imagine, but also gives her more than she bargained for. He has a lot of secrets, and as they unravel, so will Bella. He isn't Mr. Perfect, and she finds that out quickly and painfully. He has some bad boy ways and he wants her to step up and be the queen to his throne, and that came with sacrifices in his eyes. He loves her hard, and she can't see herself without him no matter what or who he does. Will Bella sacrifice who she is to be who he wants her to become? Or will she finally have enough of the way he loves her and walk away for good, while leaving a trail of blood behind her?

I legit have NO words.
I have no clue where to start with this review. I’m legit lost for words. I’m looking around, trying to construe something, but I…..idk lol I’m giving this a 3.8 star rating. I do want to say that I strongly suggest that y’all read the trigger warnings before going into this book, because the descriptive scenes of DV is HEAVY in this here novella. My God. I am almost DNF’d this book at 63% in. Bella was getting her ass kicked left right up and down. And the niggas are truly trifling. I can say that the amount of bullshit in this book, kept me locked in—no cap lmao I don’t know whether to recommend this book, continue on with book 2 and 3, throw this shit into another realm, or what. I just don’t know. But nah for real, I’m going into book 2 because the cliffhanger got me lil curious.

This book wasn't completely awful...it was okay. I kept reading thinking maybe Bella would get her life but it never happened. Every character here was dumb. Maybe part 2 will be better.

Pretty good read
This was a pretty good read. Poor Bella really went through a lot. Her abusive relationship hit me very close to home. I felt her pain because I know all too well about the physical and mental abuse. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has been in the struggle.

Good Book
Bella couldn't catch a break with these no good men. I didn't like Drew for the way he kept abusing and cheating on Bella. I thought Domo was different but he was also a liar and a cheat. If this the ending Domo got what he deserved.

Almost DNF
I almost didn’t finish In Love with the Connect (My Ebony Diamonds)… I was really about to DNF it. The beginning just wasn’t pulling me in like I expected, and I wasn’t sure where the story was going.
But baby… chapter 3?? That’s when everything changed for me. The story picked up, the characters started getting more interesting, and I found myself locked in. From that point on, I couldn’t stop turning the pages.
I’m glad I gave this book a chance because it definitely redeemed itself. It went from “I might not finish this” to “I need to see how this ends” real quick. If you’re reading it and feeling unsure in the beginning, just hold on—chapter 3 might do the same thing for you.
Overall, I’d say this one surprised me. Slow start, but once it gets going, it really gets going.

waste of time
It seemed to have potential in the beginning but by 30% you realize naw it’s some mess and 42% it’s clearly not good. I don’t see how it’s a 4.7 at allll.

Bella is a push over immature, naive character and she takes whatever her man dishes out. Like how he leave you for dead and kill your baby but you go back to the house. You want a new start but move in there same state and area. Then you staying with a cheater who has you doing coke. It’s all over the place all of it is toxic and ridiculous.

Wow. These Urban Fiction Writerss come up with some mess! I can’t find words to describe her character! She just enjoys being messed over by these men. I can’t even feel sorry for her. Why do females think abusive equates love?
Bella was a beautiful young lady who looked for love with the wrong person. She finally woke up but the next guy was nice and a womanizer. The characters and plots were very well defined with just enough drama to keep the flow rocking. Now on to part 2.

All I can say is omg this books were off the changed! I truly enjoyed . each pages. I can say Dome was ruthless but he loved ,Bella. I was so glad when started to take back her life. Dome taught her worth.
All the character awesome. The part I truly enjoyed was Dome didn't play about his women. I hated for it to come to a end. Excellent job!!!.

This was a messss 😭 idk how I feel about this series… but I couldn’t stop reading it! Dom & Bella were both unhinged & they take you on a WILD ride! I wanted to throw my kindle so many times reading this! I mean they really worked my last nerve & I still don’t know how to feel about them two!! EVERYBODY WAS TOXIC!!! Great book, I loved it. I was so happy to see Bella get away from Drew because he was definitely crazy for doing her like that. Peaches was definitely a great friend to her. I’m glad that Domo saved Bella though.
