راستش از خودِ داستان چیزی دستگیرم نشد و متوجه نشدم که نویسنده چه چیزی رو میخواد برسونه. و البته امیدوارم که صرفا منظورش تأثیرات معنوی بر زندگی انسان نبوده باشه. ولی نثر راینر ماریا ریلکه رو دوست داشتم. نثری شاعرانه و آروم.

درک اینکه چه واقعیتی مد نظر نویسنده هست سخته. شروع داستان بسیار جالب و گیرنه است. اینکه شخصی داستانی رو برای تاریکی تعریف می کند به التهاب و انتظار خواننده دامن میزند. ولی بر خلاف توقع خواننده که تصور شنیدن داستانی یا بسیار وحشتناک و یا بسیار دور از عرف اخلاقی جامعه را دارد، داستانی بسیار ساده با اندک مایه ای از توهم و عرفان تحویل خواننده داده میشه. در کل نتوانستم باهاش ارتباط لازم رو برقرار کنم.
