I like to read books like these from time to time (and in between all the dark books I read to give my brain a break). I enjoyed that there was a bit of a mystery aspect to this but don't entirely like the message behind the mystery for my daughter (if I had one).

Overall I thought that this was a really well written middle grade book and would love to read something longer from the author
