The visuals were inspiring and beautiful, but this was more of a gardener’s checklist than hints & tips. Would have appreciated more information on how to do certain gardening tasks rather than being told to simply do them (ex. there is a bullet point on Rosemary requiring extra protection in winter but it doesn’t explain how to do this).
Additionally, this book is very clearly written for one certain climate/gardening zone, so some things did not apply to my region at all.
The layout was appreciated - sectioning things off into the flower garden, the greenhouse, the kitchen garden etc. Although, as an avid vegetable gardener, this category was extremely generalized and many key crops were left out. I think adding sections on companion planting would have added more to those chapters.
