A tale within a tale about the mysterious, obscure and extinct Indian rope-trick. Tracking its origins and trail throughout time, is a father whose death, then transfers the beacon to her daughter, who even under immense pressure of being unmarried and unable to find a regular job, sticking to her thesis of Ph.D. carry on with her father’s legacy and dream. In the magical tell itself, we have the duo of Mainak-Orunaboti : the eternal lovers and their magical story. The pace falls slow somewhat, but makes up with the references and the character of the main protagonist. There are ample spaces of loose writing, and the overall the story, even with the grandeur of its magic and magical realism, is left incomplete : much like its title.
