I had my reservations when I first began looking through this book. I was worried that it would be confusing and frustrating. I am not particularly excited about anything related to taxes (unless it's getting a tax refund in the spring) but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this book was to understand. It explained in quite simple terms some strategies a person could use when investing in properties and legally using money to reinvest in said properties that would otherwise have gone to the IRS.

I enjoyed this book as much as you can enjoy a book on taxes. It served its purpose as I learned a lot about 1031 exchanges and capital gains taxes in general. I feel ready to take on a 1031 transaction. The writer made the book in an easily digestible format with examples building upon each other.

Detailed but with clear explanations and examples. The most common, Delayed 1031 Exchange is covered well along with other forms of 1031 exchange.
