I am glad to see the interaction with the reader in this and I enjoyed the illustrations. However, as I was reading it to my boys I found that I had to stop a lot and explain the "why's" of a lot of the story. It takes the typically taught Bible stories to children and replaces the truth behind them with fake saccharine sweetness. I found it to be more of a detriment to actually teaching the boys stories, values, etc. than a support.

Beautifully illustrated... I bought this as a christening gift, and on second thoughts, almost wanted to keep it for myself. The illustrations are too pretty and generous throughout, with charming animals and creatures all over. Loved it!

I was excited to see interactive questions and comments peppered throughout the entire book. I had to modify or omit a lot of them for my two-year-old, but it helped to keep me on an engaging track. I enjoyed the more detailed, realistic pictures. The stories and details included were very random, so I prefer it as a secondary children's Bible.

I read this to my little brother Duncan usually at night. it contains some stories from the bible that will surely enjoy by children. It has colorful animated illustrations. There are also extra added characters which are different animals that narrate some of the stories, give instructions,and ask questions to involve the readers. It's a great book. Even I learned and enjoyed reading this.
