Rebel Wayfarers MC #7-9

Rebel Wayfarers MC Vol 7-9

Full versions of volumes 7-9 of the Rebel Wayfarers MC book series, collected into a convenient single edition.
BOOK 7: HOSS - Hoss has been looking for something he couldn’t define. An unnamed need, deep inside him. Meeting Hope Collins for the first time gave him clarity, but he, and the Rebel Wayfarers MC are in the middle of club business. Dangerous business. Business a single mother had no place in. So he set about attempting to keep her safe, until he could claim her.
BOOK 8: DUCK - Reuben Nelms worked his entire life to pull away from a family legacy of horror and pain. Returning to his West Texas hometown for the first time in more than a decade, he still finds himself confronted by and fighting ghosts from his past. Treading alongside the remembered fear and regret surrounding him walks a temptation, Brenda Calloway, the woman he left behind.
BOOK 9: WATCHER - Watcher is known in the MC community as a man with strong beliefs. His sense of honor has been built in him from childhood, forged in the mountains of Kentucky, rooted there by family and circumstance. In the ever-changing world of outlaws, he’s made a place for himself, winning a seat at the table for negotiations and decisions that impact not only his club, but those around him. Powerful men ask for his counsel, revealing a trust and respect that can only be earned. His family loves and supports him, too, and he protects his wife and children with a fierceness that consumes. Enemies loom on the horizon, because for every man he calls brother, there are those who would take everything from him.
Also included:
SHORT STORY 7.5 HARDDRIVE HOLIDAYS - The holidays can be a joyous time, but when you have experienced a profound loss, they can also be filled with bittersweet memories. Take a trip down memory lane with a colorful, old-school biker, Landon Shoemaker, known throughout an active network of motorcycle shops and clubs as Harddrive.
NOVELLA 8.5: BIKER CHICK CAMPOUT - The segregated circles in which motorcycle club princesses and prospective members travel seldom collide. When they do, if romance is involved, it can be an improbable match at best.

MariaLisa deMora

Raised in the south, Wall Street Journal and USA TODAY bestselling author MariaLisa deMora learned about the magic of books at an early age. Every summer, she would spend hours in the local library, devouring books of every genre. Self-described as a book-a-holic, she says, “I’ve always loved to read, but then I discovered writing, and found I adored that, too. For reading…if nothing else is available, I’ve been known to read the back of the cereal box.”

deMora has penned a wide range of stories across multiple established series—motorcycle club romance, rock and roll romance, hockey romance, cozy mystery, vampire romance, veteran repatriation, and time travel—along with dark romantic suspense, standalones, and a legal thriller. Her website is packed with links and extras: character interviews, playlists, poetry, and trailer videos.

She’s a wanna-be hiker working a “bucket list” of trails. Knobstone: completed in four days mid-April 2014—whoooo. The Appalachian Trail is on that list too; she started a section hike with the first 51 miles in Georgia in May 2014, launching from the southern terminus on Springer Mountain. Now and then she looks west toward the PCT, but says that’s a level of difficult she’s not yet ready to tackle. Here’s a link to her trail journal.
She embraces her inner geek, having worked in tech for a publishing company for a couple of decades. A sometime PC gamer, she still plays EverQuest after all these years. She says, “What can I say, I’m loyal (see above, I’m an Oilers fan). My oldest character there is more than fifteen years old. I can’t abandon her now! Yeah, I play a little WoW, and have a coupla toons there, too.”

On music: “I love music of nearly any genre—jazz, country, rock, alt rock, metal, classical, bluegrass, rap, hip hop…you name it, I listen to it. I can often be seen dancing through the house in the early mornings. But I really, REALLY love live music. My favorite thing is seeing bands in small, dive bars [read: small, intimate venues]. If said bar [venue] has a good selection of premium tequila, that’s a plus!”

I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and I was kept interested. The story has laughs, pain, abuse, love, betrayal, kidnapping, grief, healing, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Mica (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #1)
Slate (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #2)
Bear (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #3)
Jase (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #4)
Gunny (Rebel Wayfarers MC #5)
Mason (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #6)

This is Hope and Hoss’s story. Hope has been taking care of herself and her son for the last 8 years. When she is let go from her job again she decides to pack up her son and go find her sister. She meets Hoss the same night she connects with her sister. Hoss wants Hope but he needs to protect her. So he will keep her safe from a distance. When she is fired from each of her jobs that the MC sets her up with she decides to seek a job outside of the MC. Hoss is called in to get her after a fight in a bar she is working. Hoss decides to stake a claim but what he does not realize is that Hope is different than all the other woman he has ever dealt with. She has always had to take care of herself and her son and she will always put her son first. When he runs hot and cold with her she thinks he is done with her. She moves out of the place she can’t afford and into a place she can. When an attack happens on the club Hope is spooked. Can Hoss get her to understand he and the MC Brothers would protect her and her son with their lives? What happens when they finally come together only to lose the best part of them in the end? Can the family still go on? Or will the pain bring them to their knees?

I loved both of these characters. Hoss is strong and so very sweet and gentle with Hope and her son when they both need it. Hope is strong and will protect the ones she loves with her life. As always you get a ton of the side characters. I have to say the ending of this story gutted me. I was not expecting where the author was going and was completely crushed with her final path. Although it was written with beauty and grace I was completely shocked. Bring your tissues as you will need them for this one. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

This is Bee and Duck’s story. Years ago Bee and Duck had one night but he left her after that one night thinking she loved another man. Now she summoned him home. His home is surrounded by bad memories that he just wants to forget. But he loves Bee and wants to win her over. Can he win her over or was coming home a mistake? Can Bee handle all that comes with him and the club? Or will he have to choose Bee or the club? Bee is keeping secrets and wonders how angry Duck will be when they come out. Can she tell him and still keep him or will he walk away? When trouble comes to town will Duck be able to protect Bee? Or will he lose her from his life because of enemies of the club?

I loved both of these characters. Duck is strong and so faithful. He is protective of Bee and her family. Bee even though she is keeping secrets is strong and protective about her son. As always you get a ton of the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

This is Juanita and Watcher’s story. You get to grow up right along with Watcher. You feel the losses he feels time and time again. When he rescues Juanita you see even in a time of pain he can be so gentle and protective. These two have been through so much but in the end they can lean on each other for support through the good and the bad times. No matter what life throws at this couple they are sticking together. Both so strong at the core. They have to be for all they have overcome. This book will make you laugh, cry and want to smack some people. But in the end I totally love Watcher.

I loved both of these characters. Watcher is gentle and protective. As always you get background from the characters as they grow and learn. You get the ups and downs of them both. You get some much out of MariaLisa’s books. She pulls you in and then introduces you around to all the characters you knew from previous books. You get to see different sides and new prospective from them. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

Love and heartache. .

I have loved every one of the Rabel Wayfarers MC books so far. Love the way MariaLisa DeMora writes these stories. . It pulls you in and drowns you with every emotion the characters feel. A must read series.
That being said. . It seems that books 7-9 have more heartbreaking occurrences than the previous. In each of these three books I have been left with my mouth hanging open thinking "Tell me that didn't f#@king happen!" I'm kind of hoping the next few books don't tear out my heart.
Even with all that, I'm still in love with this series.

Have tissues ready

Three for three each story had you so gripped and in their world that you felt what they did
I'm trying to remember the last time I've been so emotionally drained from reading such amazing stories
Now I'm really scared to read the next book

This set was really emotional, with all the things happening in the lives of these men. I had to walk away a couple of times due to the tears, but that is life - gains and losses. The stories are so well written the joy & pain these men and women feel just bleeds off the pages.

Hoss
4 Stars

Hope sure wasn’t well named, that poor girl had the worst luck. Hoss disappointed me big time when he allowed “club business” to interfere at a really critical time in their burgeoning relationship.

No, no nooooo broken heart that won’t heal and worth it all.

Duck
4 Stars

With the last name of Nelms I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this character.

Great story for these two really enjoyed this couple’s journey.

There were some amazing connections made to people we know. And honestly Deacon needs to be dealt with once and for all. I want to see Lalo in a box in the desert really bad.

Watcher
4 Stars

Another heartbreaking and amazing story of determination and grit. Two amazing characters and the road they traveled to get to happy.

Another screamed nooooooo

My heart broke

Again, very detailed scenes and characters make it feel like you're reading letters from friends or in your mind's eye watching a movie.

My heart broke for Hoss and I cried out loud for Watcher. Mason will bear the feeling that he could have done more as he always owns the pain and grief of those around him.

Definitely buy the full series before you begin to read Mica. You won't regret it.

Rebels

"Beauty lies in the soul, they say"....quoted from Bingos poetry. The most beautiful of stories ever. You get so engrossed in the lives of the RWMC men and women. Their trials, pain, heartaches and also their love and joy. Amazing author with a talent for fantastic storytelling. I recommend these books totally. Thank you MariaLisa

WHAT A SERIES

I just could not read Hoss at this time. Too sad and too close to home for me. DUCK - Was so good. He got the best of all worlds. His beloved Club, brothers, his Ranch, long lost love and something he didn't even know he needed, Elias. He still was the big, alpha protector for his brothers and their families and will always be loved, especially by Watcher. WATCHER - Jesus, how much angst are we expected to take. Especially when you have read this far into the series and love all the brothers and their women, it's just plain cruel. I skipped through Hoss because it was so sad but it didn't come close to this story. I will continue with the series but PLEASE, stop with this. I don't care when it's Lalo, Deacon, Judge, Morgan, even some of the blood families of the brothers, but I read to escape when I read - NOT CRY MY EYES OUT.

Wow

Three more stories to bring the Rebel Wayfarers to life. Word of warning hough, if you're looking for a Happy Ever After for Hoss and Watcher skip their stories. Life happens and we only get a taste sometimes. Onward to books. 10, 11, & 12.

Low we are intrinsically effected by the lives and loves of RWMC and its folded in chapters.
