There's something CreepyWeird™ going on and Riley doesn't want anything to do with it. Cawdor High is a magical high school, but even magic doesn't stop normal high school bullying and cliques. When you throw magic into the mix, the bullies can zap you with electricity or teleport you onto the flagpole. Add some teenage hormones, social media, and fully-realized imaginary friends and it's a recipe for disaster. And when the Weird Ones (aka the three head cheerleaders) give a prophecy foretelling mayhem and destruction, Riley and his friends are dragged into the middle of it, like it or not. (Mostly not.)
