The 100 Day Vocabulary Word Devotional combines expanding your vocabulary knowledge with words that aren’t commonplace along with learning a verse or passage from the Bible that has the definition of those new vocabulary words in it. Then, with the new word and verse or passage of Scripture for the day, you’ll get a daily devotional based on that topic. At the end of each daily devotional, you’ll get the “Bottom Line for the Day.” The “Bottom Line for the Day” wraps up the entire daily devotional into specific takeaways for you to apply for that day, and really for a lifetime. The 100 Day Vocabulary Devotional combines these aspects for a challenging, yet inspirational message in order to facilitate self-reflection. You’ll appreciate the combination of gaining knowledge and finding personal insight as you navigate the Scriptures, devotions, and applications. I love Bible studies, and I love discovering new words. This book caters to both of my affections. Each day begins with a new, somewhat unfamiliar word and its definition. The following scripture and devotion explains how the word can be applied. It’s a vocabulary lesson tied together with solid Bible teaching. I like the “Bottom Line of the Day,” which helps you apply both the vocabulary word and the scripture teaching to everyday situations. The English major in me is enjoying this unique new study!

This devotional was helpful, and it was interesting to learn new vocabulary in the context of God's word. The book could have used a better edit, and it was unnecessarily wordy, but still worth the read.

Like the concept

I read this as part of my daily devotions. I enjoyed the words and the scripture commentary. I even used some of the words in my favorite word game.
