Long ago, an extraordinary set of Tarot cards were created. Each of the twenty-two cards that make the Ouroboros Deck stand for different possible aspects of a person's life, from health and love to finances and death. However, these cards were quite unique, for they are not only powerful objects, but ALIVE, and when brought together they give the wielder the ultimate power: control over Time. Deemed too dangerous to roam freely, these magical beings were hidden away so no one could ever use the deck's gifts for their own misguided plans. Unfortunately, one person is trying to do just that, to make the universe in her image and make herself into a god...and she's getting close.

Now, seventeen-year-old Rylan Kerr, has this magical destiny thrust upon him: to defeat the evil witch hunting down the cards, and now him. He is the Tarot Catcher, the predestined entity to capture all of the Ouroboros cards and protect them from the witch. So Rylan must quickly go from the regular high school kid worried about grades to the one person who can track these cards down and save the world from this tyrannical sorceress. With some help from his friends and some spiritual—oftentimes annoying—spiritual guidance along the way, he will have to embrace this unwelcomed destiny and harness both his bravery and new found powers to stop the witch.
