I read this because I was doing research about life in Jerusalem. It's geared at kids, which I knew, but that was fine. It gives you a good perspective anyway.

Gavriel, 12, is Jewish, Jamal, 14, is Arabic. Both live in Jerusalem. This book tells about their daily lives. It's geared for children and is interesting. It's a bit dated.
