Haunted Ozark Battlefields

Rate this book
During the Civil War, the Ozark hills echoed with the sounds of drums and bugles from soldiers clad in blue and gray. Today, many battle sites serve as the resting place for the fallen war heroes, though some residents believe lost spirits still roam the land. From the apparition of a mysterious warrior who frequents Kemper Military School to the buffalo soldier of Baxter Springs who briefly appears before fading away, this ghostly guide leads readers through a history of the Civil War.

This was a very interesting book. It gave you a lot of Civil War history in the Ozark region and some lively ghost stories. Glad i found it to add to my collection.
