Donelle Pardee Whiting

Her combined experience as a writer and editor, and her dedication to both the craft and the company gained her the title of Assistant Head Editor. Though SSP is an indie publishing house specializing in the horror and dark fantasy/sci-fi genre, Donelle enjoys reading just about anything.
Donelle lives in Illinois with her husband, Christian, who reminds her not to take life too seriously. She and Christian have a dog and a grown son, who married his high school sweetheart, and gave her four grandchildren (also known as her granlittles), two large breed granddogs, and a handful of grandchickens.
In addition to spending time with family, riding on the back of her husband's Harley, photography, traveling with her mother, and of course reading, Donelle enjoys a good cup of coffee, chocolate, and cookies.

A fun conglomerate of classic horror tropes. Plenty to feast the eyes on. And certainly nothing to wag a finger over the price. Well done, authors, well done.

This anthology was a scream! It was like trick or treating only instead of going house to house for candy, you get to go from one great story to another for new and different monsters and zombies! Just like Halloween night, I had a hard time deciding which one I liked the best. The variety of tales in this anthology is unique. It has a broad spectrum of stories to please all monster and zombie fans. All of them were winners in my book but one in particular stood out ahead of the rest and took the prize....I Was a Teenage Bigfoot!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!
Zombies, vampires, and more, oh my! I could not get enough of the stories in this book. I couldn't put it down. Every story had it's own uniqueness and horror/thriller to it. I loved every single story that I can't say which was my favorite.

A Great Read!
What a great collection of stories. We have zombies, vampires, sirens, the bogeyman and others to fear in the dark. Some of these authors I've read before but some are new to me and I'll be looking for more of their writings. If you love horror and monsters this is a must read. A big thumbs up to all the authors who contributed to this book.

What a treat! This anthology from Stitched Smile Publications is a whole lot of fun! Every kind of monster you can think of is on display here fighting (you guessed it!) zombies. Werewolves, vampires, the Minotaur, and countless others are represented here in yet another incredible volume from SSP. There is something here for everyone. It's perfect reading for a dark and stormy night.
