Described as “insightful, poignant, and actionable,” The Pando Principle weaves a compelling and easy-to-read story with a powerful lesson for anyone who desires to live a fulfilled, impactful and well-connected life. In this fictional tale, you’ll meet Charlie, an ambitious, talented and eager young man facing an inner crisis. When Charlie steps into a mountain cabin to meet Brooks, a wise, balanced and prosperous fishing guide, an unlikely friendship begins, changing his life — and the lives of those he loves — forever. Like many best-sellers before, The Pando Principle packs a short read with deep and lasting insights. Author Jay Hawkins may soon have an entire generation living this powerful mantra: Connect Who You Are to What You Do
This books was a quick read over about finding some of the key elements of your life. It’s presented in narrative form, and it’s easy to follow. However, the real value in the book is understanding and applying the principles within. Hawkins has a unique system that ties both first principles and application together which I found very valuable. I am starting to work through his accompanying workbook before 2020, and am really looking forward to putting the framework into action.
Great read for young and old people determining their best path forward.
Have read this book 3 times actually. Once about 4 years ago. Another time over 2 years ago. Finally I returned to reading it a third time. This book challenges the reader to discover their core values and their connection statement. The author himself spent several meetings talking with me about what this means. The influence this book has is great, and the book is short. Worth the read.
