-SPOILERS-
I think it was a really cute book
SQUITTEN.
I fear I am the unscarecrow its so cutesy I love that they normalise being nice to birds and think of solutions for the problems and don't just yell at him
My bedroom is NOT tidy and if my shoes start jumping out and biting me I'm throwing hands
How do these books always have such original cute ideas
I WANT THE MAGIC POSTBOX (especially around Xmas omg)
Bobby Brewster books are always a cute little fun read
At last a sardine sandwich mention!!
There's always a thingamybob that nobody can use or even wants that just gets passed round lol I've regifted raffle prizes so many times
SQUITTEN PEEPER I LOVE HER SO MUCH SHE'S SO CUTE
SHE SLEEPS HALFWAY OFF THE CHAIR BLESS
I love that the drawing of her came to life I'd draw Midnight and just have her run around with me
Evil squitten- of course it's a cat wreaking havoc
Icl I'd burn the diary that's so annoying why was it getting all cocky like "well I never said it was youur leg you'd break..." LIKE GORL
I kid you not guys there's a music song sheet thing for the Scrumpystick song in this, I can't read music so it's wasted on me but it shows how well thought out old books are
My schools have never deserved me to be proud of them let alone PRESS MY TIE. Although to be fair walking a dog with it is a bit silly

The very first novel I read on my own all those years ago. It clearly made an impression all those years ago, to the point that I sought out a copy from the UK on ebay so I could share it with my own children.
