Karla Hocker, a native of Germany, was the author of fourteen Regency novels and various novellas. She attributed her love of the English language and her fascination with the Regency period to a three-year stay in England. Karla lived with her family - and far too many cats - in San Antonio, Texas. She passed away after a battle with cancer on May 28, 2004.
The second story was the only one with reading out of this bunch. The first and last were not worth the time.
The first one I didn’t feel the love and the MC H was not my fav. The last one had the secret baby trope, which I hate.
The second story had well fleshed out primary characters, though the secondary characters weren’t as fleshed out. This one should have been a full length book, it was that good and well written.
The Dilatory Groom by Karla Hocker 2.5 stars The Crystal Heart by Mary Kingsley 4.5 stars Fit for a Prince by Anthea Malcolm DNF and zero stars
Average 2.33 stars, rounded down.
2, I’ll pick up a Mary Kingsley if I come across it in the wild and ignore the other two, stars.
