I was just getting into the book and it ended. Short and sweet. 4 stars.

This was a very easy read and fun enough, but the writing was very grating. People seemed to change their minds every few sentences and I never really got a good idea of any of the characters personalities, except for the main character constantly doing the opposite of what she thought. The final reveal was very weird as well and all in all I didn't really like it.

so bummed this is the only book from this series and author on my libby :( this was short but pretty good for a cozy mystery, the only thing i didn't like is how many times they called each other "cuz" like do people really do that? ive never met anyone who does or at least not like back and forth so much?

Cute novella! A woman known for gossip who worked at the salon is found murdered with one of Dana Sweet's cupcakes. She is determined to help Detective Troy find the killer. Intriguing and didn't suspect the killer. Looking forward to reading more of this series!
