Do you need an assistance to choose which dog is perfect for you? Well,I got the perfect book for you called The Dog: Artlist Collection (Top Trumps) by Carolyn Menteith. This book provides more facts than you can count on your fingers, and toes. For example, the pug is a couch potato, and a dog for first time owners. You could say a Yorkie is really cute. However, it is really noisy, and you will need to train it a lot.
One important fact I learned from this book is that some chihuahua are being treated like toys instead of a dog which is unfair for both the dog, and people who watch them. I think this is unfair forthe dog because it is used to walking around, and doing tricks rather than staying in a bag with nothing to do. It is also unfair for the people because they know all about the mighty chihuahua's, and want to see them act, and children can't even feel them because the ownetr is really secure. The other important fact I learned is that the shiba inu is for expertsonly. I thought this was strange because my mother had a shiba, and she wasn't a expert yet. However, she managed him in the house hold.
The text made me think differently because I am always used to chihuahua's going on TV, and I sometime is surprised when I see them being in animal shelters. Now, I realize that in the movie world the chihuahua's look famous, and in a good home. However, in the real world chihuahua's are just like other dogs only having its own history just like any other dogs. The other thing th text made me think differently is why the bull dogs all have different species like the french bull dog. Before I had this book, I thought that french bulldog, and pug were all a bulldog just different colours or smaller.
Now I realize this is wrong.
This book teaches way more than the basics like normal dog books do. It teaches how easy they are to train, their history, and how muchexcercise they need. At first look it looks like books for kindergardeners. However, once you read this book it will tell you all the secrets you ever learned or knew. So, keep your eyes glued on every page until the end.
