The Chinese Art of Face Reading: Mian Xiang

Rate this book
The human face can be an open book--and the Chinese art of mian chiang teaches you to read it. By looking at each feature, determine anyone's true nature and fortune, anticipate behavior, and fine-tune relationships. Begin with the shape of the face; five elements, with their different characteristics; and 10 basic patterns. Individually travel across the ears, eyes, brows, nose, cheekbones, mouth, lines, chin, hair, and forehead, guided by drawings and charts. Special sections on facial and body language deepen your knowledge.

This is interesting, and seemed actually quite accurate. However the book is very small, and limited in how much it does cover.

So, even making the assumption that the method works, it is of limited usefulness because of the omissions.

I can't find some face shapes in the descriptions. Overall I thought most of the observations accurate with facial characteristics I compared.

very unique book, can't help but stare at faces all the time now to see what they say about the person.
