Ravi Belagere was a writer and journalist based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. He was the editor of Kannada language tabloid Hi Bangalore,which he founded along with R. T. Vittalamurthy, Ra. Somanath, Jogi, and I. H. Sangam Dev. He used to run a show called Crime Diary, which used to air on a regional Kannada-language channel ETV Kannada, that focused on crime in Karnataka, and he started Prarthana, a school for children in Bangalore.

ನನಗಿನ್ನೂ ನೆನಪಿದೆ ಖಾಸ್ ಬಾತ್ ೯೬ ನ್ನು ಬಿ.ಸಿ.ರೋಡಿನ ಚಿರಂತನ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯದಿಂದ ತಂದು ಓದಿ ರೋಮಾಂಚನಗೊಂಡದ್ದು. ಈಗ ವ್ಯಂಗ್ಯದಿಂದ fiction ಓದುವ ತರಹ ಓದುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅಷ್ಟೇ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸ
