Healthy Hunter: Becoming the Ultimate Predator

Rate this book
This is not a diet book. This is not a health book. This is a lifestyle. Honestly, this book isn’t for you; this is for your kids, your grandkids, and for all those you care about. When you apply the principles found in the following pages, you can change your life.

But more importantly, you can have a positive effect and change the life and future of your kids and grandkids by setting a healthy example and leaving a healthy legacy.
To hunt we don't have to be strong enough to pick up a car. We don't need to run 100 miles. It's not necessary to look like a bodybuilder. And we sure don't need to look like an underwear model. But by improving our fitness, we can certainly enjoy a higher quality of life. We can have more productive years with our kids and grandchildren. We can spend more time in the woods doing what we love and avoid sick nights in the hospital. We can share our love of the outdoors with the next generation. Just by becoming healthier we can improve our lives and the lives of future generations. If you set an example, teaching your progeny how to hunt, fish, and share your love of God’s creation, not only will they thank you, posterity will thank you!

This is not for those looking for a magic pill. And it is definitely not for vegan members of PETA. This is for hunters that want to live better, longer, higher quality, and healthier lives.

This is your SOLUTION.
This is your GUIDE.
This is your PATH..
...to be a better man
…to be a better husband
...to be a better father
...to be a better grandfather
...to be a better outdoorsman and steward of the wilderness
...to be better and healthier so you can enjoy more time and a better quality of time as a steward of God, time with your family, and time in God’s beautiful creation.

Blessed by God to be a husband to Emily and father to Thor.
Life long hunter, adventure athlete, Doctor, outdoor TV host, speaker, and author.
Dr. Brooks Tiller is an avid outdoorsman that has spent his days in the wilderness ever since he could follow his dad and PawPaw into the woods. As a health and fitness professional, he has spent his career working with high-level Olympic and professional athletes. Brooks has now combined his expertise in health, fitness, and nutrition with the knowledge and passion for the outdoors that those before him passed down in order to help outdoorsmen improve their health and fitness. His main goal is to help outdoorsmen to spend more time in the wild with those they love giving them more opportunities to fish, hunt, and live better healthier lives.
Brooks infuses his faith, his love of the outdoors, and his passion of fitness and health to help others become better stewards through speaking engagements and his writing.
When not running around in the wilderness, Brooks spends his time with his wife Emily and son Thor.

I got this book after having coffee with Brooks last week. I knew he was a hunter and I knew he was fit, but had no idea he'd written a book about it! I too been a life-long hunter and a couple of years ago I got serious about eating right and exercising. I didn't like getting tired walking up the ridge to chase turkeys or having to worry about the weight limit on my climbing stand.

Brooks has written a good little book with simple reminders and tips to keep us healthy. Eat real food. Cut down the sugar. Move. Get off the machines at the gym and get outside. Take care of your body. And, oh yeah, and hunt.
