Megan has just found her husband hanging and she cannot believe and won't believe he has left her and Cooper of his on free will, she is determined that Kyle has killed her husband and know he is out to make her his. Karlie and Brian plan to be married soon but not before their faith is tested.

I loved A reason to sing and each character had their own reason. I enjoyed how each character had their own test with the lord, I loved how the author showed so much faith and love of god in her younger characters and how the adults learned from them. This was a very good read. I cried I laughed and I enjoyed every plot and twist, this book has suspense, love, faith, forgiveness family and foolishness.

A Reason to Sing by Michelle Lindo Rice is her 14th book and I loved it. This book is centered by her 4 F’s - faith, friendship, family, and forgiveness. This story is about Megan Higgins who lost her husband Jackson from suicide or murder? She has a son named Cooper who she loves dearly. Ryan Oakes meets her and wants to marry her the first time he meets her. Ryan has his priorities in the wrong order. Money can’t buy love or your daughter’s acceptance. Brian Oakes is a man of God. He’s a praying man who finds out about his own existence. Merle Peterson is the devil in sheep’s clothing. She is a fake and manipulator. She’s playing with God and testing his patience.
This story was full of mystery, joy, pain, faith, love, and abandonment. The characters are realistic and I can relate to all the characters. The characters were vindictive, prayer warriors, and cray cray. I like how Ms. Lindo Rice incorporated Bible verses and spiritual experiences.
There are several lessons I did learn in this story. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink. You can’t fight your own battles let the Lord handle it. God brings people and situations in your life to bring you to him. And I love the statement - “Love isn’t earned or deserved. It’s given.”
I gave this book 5 stars.

Brian and Karlie are headed to the altar, but they have some hills to climb before they can get there. Brian hates Ryan, the man he always thought was his father and who actually is Karlie's. His intense feelings against a man Karlie has forgiven drives a wedge between them, as does his dislike of her grandmother Merle. Brian's gift of discernment enables him to literally see right through them, and he doesn't like what he sees. He also finds himself in position to meet his real father, but can he handle the assignment God has for him in that regard?

Ryan is determined to have Megan as his wife, but there's a problem: she thinks he had her husband killed. He did everything he could to win her over, nice and not so nice. It was interesting to see a less than perfect love interest in a book like this, and to see Megan's internal battle: her feelings for him vs. her knowledge of everything Ryan did and is capable of doing going forward.

Having followed these characters through the first two books in this series, I found this to be a satisfying conclusion.

*I was provided a copy of this Kindle book in exchange for an honest review*

Every time I think that author Michelle Lindo-Rice can't surprise me anymore, she proves me wrong. The first few lines at the very beginning had me sitting with my mouth wide open. The action was WHAM, right in your face. She didn’t ease you into it, she took you full-force straight into it. This book was an emotional rollercoaster for me. One thing I love about this book is this was a great read with drama, love, suspense, forgiveness, family, faith and finding God. Does not disappoint; this story is well written, the characters are very relatable, and the story flows easily. You will find yourself not wanting to put the book down to do anything else, so don't put your dinner on, because you might burn it. I would recommend this book to any and everyone looking for a good read! Once again, author Lindo-Rice, I give you a standing ovation!

Megan was still mourning over the death of her husband, Jackson. Megan feels so alone without her husband Jackson around. Ryan Oakes approached Megan and asked her to marry him. Megan thinks that Ryan had something to do with the death of her husband. Megan is forced to marry Ryan but refuses to live as his wife. Ryan is the type of man that gets want he wants. Karlie and Brian are engaged to be married soon. Brian is not feeling Merle; Karlie’s grandmother. He believes that Merle is just out for money. Merle will do anything to obtain money. Merle is attending church and faking. Another awesome job…

This the third book in the Song of the Heart Series and boy did it go out with a bang. We begin this book with Megan reeling from the suicide by hanging death of her beloved husband Jackson. And from there the book takes off. I don't want to give anything away and if I start talking I'm not going to be able to stop. This book has the perfect mix of comedy, mystery, intrigue, and a love story with a Godly message. This book was like Pringles once you stop you will not wanna stop. I can't wait til my next read from this author.

As always Michelle captures the reader from the very beginning. This is the third book in the series. Michelle gives us Christian fiction with a little romance, suspense, and mystery. The characters are not too far fetched and far from the typical holier than thou characters in most Christian Fiction books. Brace yourself for the twists and turns. I'm excited to see what's in store from Michelle in the future.

This is the third book in the Song of Hearts series. Michelle Lindo-Rice has written a great story to climax the series with Megan, Brian and Ryan.

Megan is faced with living life after her husbands death. She constantly wonders who could have murdered her husband. She knows he wouldn't have killed himself. Then she comes face to face with Ryan. Her husband has always warned her about Ryan. She constantly wonders should she trust him or should she run away from him like her husband warned.

Ryan comes face to face with Megan and he immediately falls in love. Ryan will stop at nothing to have the life that he wants. What will Ryan do? How far will he go.

Brian is selected for an internship working with non other than Kyle Manchester. As we know in the other books Brian has always struggled with having his father in his life. This is his opportunity to get close to his father. Once his father realizes who he is does he embrace him as his son or does he turn him away?

I love all the characters in this series. Merle is always up to something and she doesn't disappoint in this book.

This book shows how a couple of the characters experience redemption, it has a little mystery and comedy in it.

Michelle Lindo-Rice has penned another great read. You will not be disappointed.

This story was as good as the others in the series. I was reading this book thinking how is Michelle going to spin this love story between Megan finds her husband hanging in their closet and Ryan man she blames for the death of her husband. In true Michelle Lindo-Rice writing she got it done. These characters go through some hard times, but not only do they find love, but they also find God.

So good! I now have so many questions. Didn’t realize it was a series and this book caught my attention. I want to know more about Jackson Higgins. I want to know more about Merle the fraudster, and definitely want to understand Ryan. How did this nice lady and mother get tied up and acquainted with some of these ppl. Lindo-Rice writes novels with near family entanglements. Megan could hold her own, but I was concerned for her safety a few times. So if you are about to read this story, be sure you’ve read the first two books of the series. This one was filled with intrigue and espionage and all the who done it to keep you reading.

I enjoyed this 3rd book. It was weird how Ryan instantly fell in love with Megan. I was happy for Karlie and Brian's relationship. They are a dynamic duo spiritually. And thank God Karlie found out the truth about her grandmother Merle. Read the book to find out about Brian's real dad.

Wow!

Didn’t see this ending coming! I actually didn’t see a lot coming, especially Kyle’s conversion and the relationship with Ryan and Megan. Great ending to the series.

I applaud Lindo-Rice yet again. This book had me on the edge of my seat. I am still on the fence with regard to Ryan and what he is doing spiritually. Brian, Ryan and Kyle was an interesting storyline. I loved Brian's boldness even when he was in conflict with himself. Merle...what is her story? The Tiffany tribute made my eyes leak. I will read every book of hers I can find.
