The Mercedes Story: A Troubled Soul
Hold up yal let me tell yal a story. So there was this chick name Mercedes. Her life was mad shady…15 and pregnant with a baby. She wanted to be grown. but didn’t know sh*t about being a lady.The streets claimed her, couldn’t tame her, blame her mother though... She didn’t come from a stable home, she was in this all alone. Shorty just wanted to be grown. Looking for love and affection, she started flexing…and messing around, all around town…These streets and these freaks were her medication shorty was in a bad situation.Trading one needle from another to another...She prayed and prayed that she would never be like her mother! No self respect or no class...Life gone, what a straight waste. In revenge she started to give the world a taste... Bitter sweet, never did she once look like she weak! Not to mention..that butt was a walking death sentence! Sexually transmitted, if you know her you better run straight to the clinic. Let me tell you how all this started… Before we go do you know it's Aids awareness month? Do right and know your status. Because YOUR life matters!

Yes indeed a troubled soul
To think this is what a lot of young girls go through everyday! She never wanted to be like her mother but she end up being worse.

This was an okay read for me... It felt a little all over the place for me... It did not have a good flow... It jumped around a bit much... Also it kept repeating things over and over and this became frustrating and really drew away from the storyline for me...
Mercedes is young and so naive and just wishing for someone or should I say anyone to show her a little bit of love... She has no father and she gets no love from her mother at all... Not only that but she is abused mentally and physically by her mother... Her mother is mentally unstable and will not get the help that she needs for it... I feel so sorry for Mercedes because she has not been loved and taught the things that she needs to know in order to survive... So she keeps putting herself in some of the worst situations and she thinks is it is love... But I guess to her it is because that is all she knows... Not only that but anyone who shoes her the tiniest bit of attention, concern or affection she clings to and accepts anything and everything that they do to her... Now because of all her lack of knowledge look at what she has done... She would not listen to her cousin Paris when she tried to tell her about this man named Tony... And now she is sitting back Wishing that she did... But it is to late... What will she do now...
I guess we will have to read part 2 to find out... Lets see if part 2 will pick up the pace...

Omg this book was sooooo good. I really enjoyed this story it will truly touch you heart. It deals with a young lady This young girl Mercedes was one confused young lady. She started looking for love in all the wrong places and ended up being catch all up in some straight bullcrap. Lord this girl Mercedes needs so much help her mom ain’t worth two pennies and Mercedes is going to find out the hard way and boy does she find out the hard way. I don’t wanna say anymore because I will tell the story but baby this definitely a must read. Angel Williams did a excellent job with this part now on to part two.

i can't wait to read book 5 if there is one, this one had all the drama that i needed. Poor mercedes she had a mess up life and then to find out certain things just made her life worse. the ending was so heart breaking i can't imagine where book 5 will go and will she ever get her life together? So many unanswered questions that i need to have answered, that ending left me speechless. This was one series that made so sad and angry at times but it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole series!

Omg Mercedes needs to sit her hot butt down, this is truly a cautionary tale of a young girl living too fast and trying to grow up too quick, but it's a really good book. I was drawn into the story from page 1, and then throw in the mommy and her antics and it's a perfect disaster. I can't wait to see what else Mercedes and her crew get into. I could give this book 10 stars and talk about it all day, onto book 2

This story was bonkers. Mercedes went through a lot and is obviously psychologically damaged because of the lack of guidance and abuse she's suffered in her childhood. Oooweee! From the adults, to her cousin, to every male she's come across, this child's life is tumultuous, and her train of thought is dangerous. This book could stand some additional editing however. I'll likely read book 2 if it's out.

The book was very well written. It started right where it left off from the last book. This is a definite must read for young adults it will truly give you some insight about life and all the trials and tribulations that you go through in life. Angel has done a phenomenal job on this series. Do yourself a favor and definitely read this series you won’t be disappointed trust me.

Good series
This is ac really good book but idk if you didn’t have an editor or what for this one but it had a whole lot of typos more than the other books. That was my only issue with this book hopefully part 5 isn’t like that. Overall this is a good book An I’m glad to see it’s being made into a movie.

I love the Mercedes series so far, I can't put them down. I thought Winter Santiaga was dumb, but Mercedes makes me wanna shake her!!! 🤣 My ONLY suggestion to the author is get you a editor to help catch the grammar errors and you will be UNSTOPPABLE. I love forward to the rest of your work and also watching you succeed. GOOD LUCK 👍🏾 👍🏾

Keeps getting better
Just when you think “what next?” then something happens that leaves my mouth wide open. The author does a good job of making you feel the emotions and pain. Im so scared for Mercedes and it just doesn’t look good for her. I’m ready for the next book

Good story
I liked the book. The main character Mercedes was really naive when came to love. I felt sorry for her. It's like after all she went through or her mom went through as a teenager. You'll think she learned that.

Wow!!!!
Wow this book was good. Mental health is so real and hard on the person who has to take care of the person with the mental health. Mercedes been threw a lot a young mind trying to find love any where she can get it sad. That ending I got wait to read more.
