Tuebor is the story of an honest, hard-working yet naive young man who chose to leave the safety of civillian life for a career of a dedicated police officer. Whether an aspiring police officer, a current police officer or someone who is interested in understanding what serving the public is about, these true stories capture the human side of policing.
This book was written by a retired Michigan State Police officer. The stories in the book give an insight of what being a police officer might be like. I have an appreciation for those who feel the call to protect and serve and this book helped reinforce those feelings. I was glad to read all the stories, some being happy and some being sad. The afterword was enlightening also because I did not notice those concepts when I read all the stories. Well done.
An amazing account that anyone who doesn't understand what a police officer goes through or anyone who wants to become an officer or really for ANYONE. It's amazing the things these men and women go through to keep us, the citizens safe. God bless all officers of the law!
There is one particularly troubling story. Not that Muladore did the wrong thing, but what a trooper sees regularly is the worst kinds of evil. I would recommend the book for someone wanting to go into the field or for someone who loves a police officer and wants a deeper look at their life.
