In theory, I like the moral of the story, but it's a pretty dull read. My son liked it slightly better than I did, but not in any big way. This may appeal to one child better than another though, it just didn't happen to impress
me or my son. This book is certainly worth a try through the library to see if it tickles your child's fancy. I could see some kids loving or hating it and for unpredictable reasons. I guess in that regard, it's a decent book.
