Drakkar is the third book in the Dark Order of the Dragon series by Sandra Bischoff. You do need to have read the other two books in the series first otherwise it may get a little confusing to understand what's going on.
I enjoyed Drakkar and it definitely had its twists & turns in the story. Sandra Bischoff definitely knows how to get the emotions going too as I definitely found myself crying in a few places. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series as I still have some unanswered question. An enjoyable read.

Drakkar: Beyond the Lie pulls you in from the very first page and doesn’t let go. This third installment in the Dark Order of the Dragon series delivers everything I love about vampire fantasy dark family secrets, intense emotion, and a main character caught between truth and deception.

Drakkar’s journey is gripping and surprisingly emotional. Watching him question everything he’s been taught and struggle to see beyond his mother’s lies makes this story not just about vampires, but about identity, trust, and breaking free from manipulation. Sandra Bischoff does a fantastic job balancing action and introspection, keeping the pace fast while still diving deep into Drakkar’s inner turmoil.

The world building continues to be rich and vivid, with just the right mix of danger, intrigue, and heart. By the end, I was completely invested in Drakkar’s fate and the truth behind his family’s dark legacy.

A must-read for vampire fans who crave more than just blood and battles this one has real heart and depth.

The third installment of the Dark Order of the Dragon series is finally here folks. Sandra Bischoff did not disappoint with Beyond the Lie. Normally when I start a book I finish it in a day or two. But with Drakkar's book it took longer. The reason it took longer is because my daughter and I were reading it together. This is a YA novel thrown into the mix of the series. I have to say I loved it, my young daughter loved it. Drakkar is a story many young people can relate too. Social awkwardness, first love, balancing high school with life in general.

For Drakkar its harder though. With royal blood and a mother who loathes him, his life is that much harder. This is a book not only for fans of the series, but for the younger generation of paranormal romance also. I am not giving spoilers here, but you need to pick this book up. It will break your heart, anger you, and have you cheering our young hero's on. A great read that will leave you wanting more.

great read!!!
I know someone is going to look at this review and say, it took her a long time to read that book, it had nothing to do with the story I had no power. Ms Bischoff did not disappoint, she brought seller with this book!!!
First, please read the other books in this series, because this is one amazing paranormal series for young people. It take a look at that awkward stages of life...
first love, high school, and voice changes.
Drarkkar could only wish that was his problem. His mother was twisted and cold. This story contains a wicked and abusive mother, brooding vampire with a high level of suspense and love.

What a great story, I fell in total love with book 1 in this series and now I've finished book 3 I'm even more in love with this series, the characters, the storyline they way the author describes her fantasy world it's all fantastic.

Drake and Serenity talk about an amazing couple and both with bad parts in their past but wow Drakes past is totally screwed up but then with Absinth for a parent how could he not be screwed up, but when he finds out the real truth well that is just magical.

Great plot twist and loads of supernatural magic I couldn't put it down.

(I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK IN RETURN FOR AN HONEST REVIEW)
Being the third in the series I recommend reading the previous books first.
I throughly enjoyed reading Drakkar’s story, coming to terms with being a teenager, falling in love and finding out things aren’t as they first appear! I loved the plot twists and hadn’t seen some coming but I don’t want to give anything away!
A gripping story from start to finish but leaving you with a separate tantalising cliffhanger ready for the next instalment.

Best book in the series so far!

I loved Drakkar! This book toys with all your emotions. Drakkar a brooding teenage vampire and a mother who is abusive and downright hateful to him is a very interesting mix. This book has it all, suspense, surprises, love and hate. It's full of Magic and life. This is a journey of Drakkar as he finds himself, questions are asked and secrets are revealed can he find love and happiness when his life is truly a living shell? All is revealed in this story. Definitely a story you don't want to miss...

In Beyond the Lie, the third installment of the Dark Order of the Dragon series, Sandra Bischoff has managed to create an intriguing and exciting page turner. I must admit, I am not usually a fan of YA (I’ve read adult novels since a very young age), but I have loved Drakkar as a character since Beyond the Sun and absolutely couldn’t wait to get my hands on his book!

His story was easy relate to, even though my high school years seems like it was ages ago, and I found his eclectic ensemble of friends refreshing and vital to the story. I could have certainly done with less of his mother, but that’s just becasue she’s an evil manipulative monster to him, not because she isn’t wonderfully written.

For anyone looking for a paranormal romance that their teen can easily relate to and also enjoy the rollercoaster of emotions a tempermental vampire youth’s experiences, Beyond the Lie is perfect.

This story had me hooked from the first chapter. I just knew there was going to be turmoil, excitement and twists. Drakkar is the son of Princess Absinthe Dragoni, who is not a favorite character of mine. However she adds part of the turmoil to the story. Drakkar has no reason not to believe what his mother tells him but soon learns that lies have been told and he needs to learn who and what he can trust. As he faces his future he learns who his enemies are and who his friends are.

Drakkar is young and while learning to deal with the teenage ups and downs he is learning to deal with feelings he has for a black haired beauty. This is a great story that will interest young adults and old ones, like me. His story will take you through h*!! and back and wring out every emotion that you can think of.

I feel that you do need to read the other two books before this one. This story will have you biting your nails and holding your breath. There were many moments that I didn't know if Drakkar would find a HEA but it was worth it in the end.

I loved this series. Great paranormal series.

I voluntarily read a copy of this book for Nerd Girl Official.
