Emma Brann is a contemporary poet and the self-published author of Inhale Fire Exhale Ice. She is currently writing and studying in Denver, Colorado. Emma is a self-proclaimed "hater of capital letters and skeptic of punctuation."

Emma has dreamt of being a published author for as long as she has been writing. She had accumulated a few dozen unfinished novels before realizing that poetry was her calling. Emma sees books of poetry as boxes of chocolates that you can't eat too many of.

Emma loves libraries and exploring unknown places. She especially loves exploring unknown libraries. She always carries a journal and pen with her for surprise inspiration, and has run into many things and people trying to write and walk at the same time. All of Emma's work was first handwritten and later typed.

Emma's three favorite things are tea, stationary, and good conversation.
