Decent
This installment picks up after Ant’s shooting. The shooting was so damn random by the way lol. This part focused a lot more on allowing the readers to get to know Dimitri”Meechi” which I do appreciated a good character build up before we get into action! Although, it was finally explained why the affair with Brook and David “D-Rock” took place, I still could not understand Brook’s selfishness and rudeness with Erica. She did give it to her straight but geesh they were best friends. I totally think that Erica should take some blame. When you invite others into the bedroom you open the door for situations like this. I’m glad that the conversation between Michelle and Ant happened because she is totally doing too much with continuously pushing up on this married man when he has already told that he is happily married (so he thinks!). How he could had most definitely given her mixed feelings when he previously went to her job and allowed a lap dance to happen. There is so much messiness in this series. I wasn’t wowed by this second story but I am going to continue with the next book.

I am having a time with this series! I cannot stand Brooke!!! That hussy is selfish as hell and idc nothing about het sob story 🤷🏿♀️🤷🏿♀️ that mess her and David were doing was so foul! Ant is such a good man, he deserves WAY better! I'm rooting for my girl Erica, she was done wrong by two of the closest people to her so in my eyes she deserves happiness and if that just happens to be Meechi 🤷🏿♀️ oh well! Get it girl!! I loves me some Niecy! She kept me cracking up and she is an amazing friend! Hope to see more on her and Sen! Onto part3!

An ok read
This was an ok read. I really wanted Anthony to find out sooner and while things are coming into fruition the book is a bit slow however the story builds up. I have so many unanswered questions. My favs from the story is meechi and Erica. I’m living for Anthony and Michelle to get together but that seems to be far fetched. All in all a good story.

I don’t like Erica!! She is stupid and I don’t like stupid females. I understand want to be forgiving and move past stuff but to allow people to play in your face and you just sit around and take it. I will never be that kind of girl and I can never sit around those types of women!
Brooke was not sorry whatsoever that whole conversation between the two was pointless, if Erica wasn’t going over there to beat Brooks's ass then there was no reason for her to go over there at all and that weak ass slap wasn’t shit!
This book just pissed me off even more!! Honestly, Erika doesn’t even deserve Meechi, he to smart for her goofy ass! 🙄🙄
On to book 3! My only favorite part of this book was Sen of course 😂 and Neciey dropping all them gems that Erica slow ass ignored 🤦🏾♀️

Yesss sp u still love Meechi... definitely don't like David... felt a bit sorry for Brooke but I am still in the fence about how she did Ant even with the sacrifice... she ain't have to do it but she did it anyways .. love Erica and I hope she can get herself together, she deserves to be happy whether in a relationship or not... still love Neicy and Sen, they so much alike!!!! Meechie and Erica
Let me first just say I read this series out of order because I read about Juvie and Solai first and they were mentioned so I had to come and get their beginning because I know the end now.
Brooke is dirty! Erica is to naive

Let me tell you something, Michelle is selfish af ! You went to be with another man and expected this man to just wait and you can just pop randomly and he fall head over hills for you 😒 desperate af and manipulative ! Ant would be dumb af if he deals with her, even after finding out about Brooke affair. I’m rooting for Erica and Meech ,they deserve a happy ever after. I still feel like Erica and Ant should do they big one for get back purposes lol !

Babyyy, this book was overflowing with tea! I cannot stand David,hope he gets exactly what’s coming to him. I did see the growth Brooke was working toward, though. Hopefully she finds the healing she needs. And let’s be real, Erica definitely leveled up with Meechi!
