Not as in-depth as other commentaries, but it does give some decent background on the writing of the Gospel as well as some interpretations. Some sections are glossed over - I feel - more than others, and I kind of wish it was more comprehensive.

[Dim Bulb]

A good introduction and overview of Matthew's Gospel.
