I love romance in all its multitude of forms. Romance is wistful, poignant, and classic. It makes the heart beat faster; it brings a twinkle to the eyes, a tear drop, and a smile. Romance is love, joy, pain, and loss. It is endearing and lasts through out time for all eternity.

I love hearing from readers. Please feel free to drop me a line at cassandraparker753@gmail.com

This is a heartwarming and heartbreaking story that sets itself apart with a mix of clean romance, 70’s nostalgia, and a historical look at being a teenager in that era. In some ways it is written like a diary with the rich details of locations, the music, the life attitudes and prejudices, and what young adults might do for fun at that time while going about their everyday life.
It is also a story about Harley, and how much he inspired those who met him during his short life. Although we receive hints about his darker past as a fast living biker, here we see him as a business man and philanthropist who is dedicated to helping others and the love of his life, Mari.

A unique romance novel.
Cassandra Parker has nailed unconditional love in this awe-inspiring story.
Harley, the epitome of a biker dude, reveals his true personality to Mari, his perceived soulmate, and her disc jokey co-workers and friends from the university's radio station.
If you've ever dreamed of a romance filled with strength, passion, and abstinence before marriage, this book fulfills your desires.
While the ending of this heartfelt story could have left us in emotional turmoil, I believe Cassandra saved us. Although, I was personally hoping for a more complete ending.
I was distracted by the many bands mentioned, albums, and song titles, which is why I didn't click on five stars.

Harley & Me

General Summary for Context:
(Contains spoilers) The main characters meet at university in the late 70s and instantly fall in love. They have some family drama but he dies suddenly of an aggressive form of cancer. The book ends with her meeting him again, or his ghost, at a bar.

Concise Review:
I like how the author has put so much attention on music throughout the novel, which is fitting since the main characters are students in the late 70s.

Based on the description of the book, I expected Harley to be a real biker, but he is anything but. The guy is kind, honest, fair, and filthy rich. The only connection to biker society is that he drives a motorcycle and runs a business where he fixes/sells them.

The story itself is entertaining, really sweet actually and has a more realistic end than a "happily ever after"-ending.
I believe the author, by writing this story, is telling readers to live in the moment, not take anything for granted, and appreciate the time they have with the people they love. I couldn't agree more.
