When not writing, traveling, reading, gardening and family consume her time.

Galvin, youngest son of the nordic gods Sif and Thor has enough of dating immortal women. He´s determined (to the horror of his parents) to find his wife among the mortals...
Isabella Girardi has a huge italian family, is – at the age of 38 - still unmarried (to the horror of her mother), works as a weather forecaster at the local Television and has enough of men who are all interested only in young women with big boobs. On a drunken night with her (also) unmarried girlfriends they decide to find an immortal male because of their already limited options in their own mortal world. Isabella really doesn´t believe in their hocus-pocus and when she gets almost struck by a lightning during their chants she leaves a bit dizzy for home. The next day her boss introduces her to the new member of her staff Galvin Haldor...
When I first started to read this book I was intrigued by the plot and was ready to be throughly entertained by a witty and sexy story. Yet the book didn´t keep it´s promise in my opinion. I didn´t find some of the supposed humorous parts very funny e.g. the situation (I only say pink) Isabella finds her gay brother in, or the elevator "accident", the humor seemed even sometimes forced. And no, I won´t speak about the mixup of gods of all realms and their sphere of influence, this is a paranormal romance novel and not a scientific paper about mythology and usually I don´t care about poetic license in this matter but - introducing Aphrodite as Zeus´ wife made me really raise my eyebrows in amazement...(and I wonder what Hera had to say to such an arrangement?)
The more the story progressed the less I liked the female main character, I even started to get annoyed with her and her behaviour and I think that´s my main problem with this book. I couldn´t really connect with Isabella and her silly attitude in the second half of the book and in all honesty I also have read much hotter (and better) sex scenes in other novels...
This book is an easy read suitable for a lazy day on the beach or a rainy afternoon on your sofa....but nothing special.
