It was supposed to be a normal bachelorette party weekend with my girlfriends in San Juan. But my past caught up with me while on the crowded dance floor and I needed a quiet breather. I just had to leave the club early, even if that meant walking back to the hotel alone. All I wanted to do was dip my toes in the sand and let the quiet ocean soothe my emotions while a nice drink settled my racing memories. But a noise in an abandoned shack piqued my curiosity; oh why did I have to be like that metaphorical da*n cat, ever so curious?

"I'm the daughter of a senator" were the last words I ever expected the goddess intruder to muffle to me before I carefully taped her mouth shut. She had heard too much, seen too much. And now I'm responsible for her very life. I'm the enforcer and my line of work is dangerous, far too dangerous for an American high society rich girl. But now I have her captive in my very own bed. I have plans to let her go once this all smoothes over and the blue diamond is secure in my family's hands. But what if I don't want it to smooth over? What if I want her in my bed forever?
DANGER is a thrilling steamy mafia romance novella (25k words) with ***a happy ending *** and is a stand alone read. For your reading pleasure, follow the brothers in their own tale in books 1 (DANGER) and 3 (WINNER). Out now!
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 2nd in the Puerto Rican Crime Family series and ends in an HEA. Allie is kidnapped by Santiago. Some huge trauma is hinted at in Allie's life, but nothing ever comes from it. Santiago is a thief that adores women and treats them well. The plot is so weak. Allie is the daughter of a senator yet the publicity to try and find her is never mentioned.
>The worst thing about this story is the author forgetting the name of the main male character, Santiago. There are 3 brothers, Santiago, Luca and Diego. Santiago keeps referring to his brother as Santiago. No way could I suspend reality and enjoy the story while so confused as to who was the guy with Allie.
>Stockholm syndrome isn't romantic. The romance in this book between Allie and one of the Santiagos isn't romantic either. These guys weren't mobsters, only thieves. I cannot recommend this book. I am giving this book 1 star.
