I want to develop this book into a library program because of the discussions that could be had of the shocking good humor connected with weddings photos collected for an exhibition at Harvard in 1976...not to mention the fantastic dresses, poses, secrets that you can just see in the participants eyes. From the 1860s to the 1970s, it's a visual trip that will draw you back into the book again and again to catch yet another look. If nothing else, we should have a wedding photo party on Facebook and post everything from the sublime to the silly.
