Suspenseful, with an unexpected ending. The last few paragraphs made me groan, though...kinda cheesy, like much of the writing.

DNF. The writing was horrible. Just because you can write a book doesn't always mean you should .

toward the end of the book--which i read on the stationary bike--i almost picked out the wrong man as the villain--there are so many characters. i'm certainly glad that i didn't live in this community--people kept getting killed off! amanda hammond is the young psychiatrist who is trying to make sense of the whole mess. peter barron, the medical examiner, and joe mchugh the police detective help to finally locate the killer.

Bleh, the main character is a shrink desperately in need of one. She was so annoying I wanted to help the killer find her.
