A murder in a minimum security federal prison, and disgraced former senator Desmond Gardner is the most likely suspect. Fortunately, Gardner's Wendy is determined to clear his name, and she enlists Gardner's old friend, and old State department hand Richard Michaelson. Michaelson can play the bureaucratic game with the best of them, and finds more than one party can be guilty.
