c1973: An entertaining albeit sparse description of murders in the capital - ie as it says on the tin. Some interesting errors with some of the dates - looks to be just typo errors so the editing was not the tightest it could have been. Happily, the unknown graffiti artist was at work again changing the dates where appropriate either by heavily correcting the date or by writing in the margin. I wonder if I would have picked up the errors by myself. There are also some notes on the end page, notably "Philosophical Journal...." the dots really are there. In a different handwriting there is the date 5/5/80 and an illegible signature. I wonder what story those bits could tell. Getting back to the content - it is a quick read, somewhat dry in the telling with some phrasing that really stresses the casual problems with -isms at that time ie sexism, racism and ageism- also the class divide. Terribly interesting even if read from a social development perspective alone. Collins kept the bones of the right arm, and the skull went to the nearby pub.
