Describes, in simple terms, how to say "no" to drugs, how to listen to your own feelings, how to handle peer pressure, and how to become a drug-free kid
This 1990 book was straight outta Nancy Reagan's ludicrous "Just Say No" campaign that endeared her to rich, white Americans.
It does not address issues that drive people to become addicts, such as false advertising that helped cause the opioid epidemic. It also equates taking drugs with stealing.
There is a section supposedly teaching kids to make decisions after they've talked to grown-ups, but grown-ups are often stupid ... or worse. It also shows a Black mother and child talking about a drug dealer to a white cop. COME ON.
