Another great publication by KITLV, the Dutch publisher with such great archives on Indonesia. This book offers information about the British duo of Walter Woodbury and James Page, two photographers who lived and worked in Java. The quality of reproductions leaves a bit to be desired. The text is thorough, and there are a lot of great pictures. Another great view into early culture the Dutch East Indies.
