A new topic of study for me, what happened with the Arab countries after the Six Day War and Yom Kippur War. Although this book was a collection of various papers from various authors, I found the main point of view, the Arab outlook, fairly interesting. Even more interesting was the branch out beyond Jordan, Syria, and Egypt into other countries like Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Sudan, Libya, and Iran. Usually, all discussions regarding Israeli wars isolate the scene to Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, and sometimes Iraq. I especially liked the discussion on how oil was used as a weapon during the embargo time periods. Very interesting book for a topic I love.
