Another great value box-set from this author, if you like PNR with a bit of romantic suspense then the five books in this set will be right up your street.

Unleashed Temptation: 4 Light Stars
A nice short steamy novella centred on human Carly and sexy protective and growly wolf Nick.
The only think that annoyed me was Nick’s cousin Alex, she may be in her early twenties and only ‘a pup’ in werewolf terms, but she should know better than giving someone’s phone number to a guy without asking permission!
Despite this being part of a series, and the book that introduces us to the Lazos Pack, it can be read as a standalone.

Worth the Risk: 3 Cosy Stars
Werewolf Stephan Lazos is deep undercover, trying to take down one of Miami’s biggest ad dangerous criminal operations. He knows to expect danger and the unexpected, but is thrown of kilter when he meets his mate – werewolf Marisol Cabrera whilst undercover, especially when it becomes apparent that Marisol is interested in his target - Antonio Perez but for vengeance, an interest that could have potentially life-threatening consequences. Marisol knows she’s playing with fire when it comes to Stephan (she is unaware of his identity), but she can’t seem to resist him.
This novella does end on a bit of a cliff-hanger, which is resolved in the next book - Power Unleashed.

Paz Cabrera is trying to understand who she is and where she fits after being rescued from captivity, a hybrid of Fae and werewolf, she knows it is vital that she keep off the Council’s radar – simply because of her hybrid status they would order her death, but when Council enforcer Adam Tucker arrives in Miami hunting a rogue. Adam is used to people fearing him, and so has become used to living a lonely and somewhat solitary life. When he arrives at the home of the Lazos pack, he finds a place where he is welcomed and not feared, and most importantly he finds his mate.
An enjoyable short read.
Dangerous Craving: 3 Overall Pleased Stars
Fae Princess Nissa life is in danger as someone in the Fae court tries to have her killed, uncertain who to trust, she finds herself seeking help from the werewolf who broker her heart a century ago, future alpha of the Lazos pack – Thomas Lazo. Thomas has spent the last century regretting his mistake and the unjust accusations he lobbied at Nissa, and the memory of her hunts him. When Nissa re-enters his life, Thomas is determined to make up for his past mistakes, but in a world werewolves and Fae truly distrust one another Nissa is firm in her belief a relationship between them would be impossible.

Human turned werewolf Ethan is still trying to find his footing after having been experimented on and turned into a werewolf, but one thing he is sure of is his attraction to Caro. Caro had her heartbroken years ago when the man she loved left her for his fated mate, since then she has been wary of entering inti a relationship, so when Ethan shows an interest in her she is quick to emphasis all they can be is friends. What she doesn’t count on is Ethan’s determination to be with her, he agrees to friendship but remains determined to have the women he desires and comes to love so intensely.
I liked the fact that Caro is the older women in this, and Ethan the younger man. There is some drama in the form of Caro’s douchebag ex, . From what the author reveals about her ex I honestly didn’t see the attraction Caro once had, and having Ethan in her life luckily highlights to Caro all that her ex lacked/lacks.
This is a slow burn romance in principle, although since this is a little novella, the author tells us that 6 months etc have gone by.

The build up to love is rapid-Nick knows Carly is his mate but fears revealing the truth about who and what he is will send his human mate running in the opposite direction. The characters are colorful, protective and energetic; the happily ever after is predictable but welcome.

WORTH THE RISK is an enjoyable and entertaining storyline but I found myself zoning out with the copious amount of $ex and sexual scenarios-I felt the story and DEA investigation took a back seat to the $ex, and I started skipping and jumping forward. Katie Reus is one of my favorite authors and I have no issues with her style of story telling but WORTH THE RISK got caught up in the $ex between Marisol and Stephan. The characters are intelligent and engaging; the happily ever after has yet to be told.

DESIRE UNLEASHED is a fast paced storyline that concludes the Miami Scorcher series but I thought it fell short in grabbing my attention-the excitement level was less than expected-I wanted to read more about Ethan’s backstory and the year since his imprisonment as he acclimated into a shifting wolf. . A disappointing end to an exciting shifter series.

Box Set Overall Rating - 3.5 Stars. I liked the series well enough. The stories can be read fairly quickly.
Book 1 - Unleashed Temptation - 3 Stars
Unleashed Temptation is a short book and the first in the Miami Scorcher paranormal novella series.
I liked Nick’s character, although I felt he was a little OTT occasionally. He really liked Carly and wanted to make sure she cared about him before revealing his true identity. Very few shifters find their true mates, and Nick didn’t want to take the chance that he could lose her.
Carly was annoying. She wanted Nick and had no problem sleeping with him; however she would start thinking they were moving too fast and then throw mixed signals. The next minute she would pounce on him again. No wonder Nick was a little nervous and hesitant about telling Carly his secret.
There is a HFN ending, and we are introduced to Nick’s brothers Stephan and Thomas who also have books in this series.

Book 2 - Worth The Risk - 3.5 Stars
Worth The Risk is the second book in the Miami Scorcher paranormal novella Series.
This is Stephan’s book who I really liked. He was an undercover DEA agent and in the middle of a huge investigation when he met Marisol. His wolf recognized her instantly as his mate, but Stephan had to play it cool or it would blow his cover.
I disliked Marisol when she was first introduced as the heroine, and sadly my feelings toward her never changed. She was after the man who killed her family when she met Stephan, and Marisol believed he worked for the criminal she was after. She wasn't happy to learn her mate was a dirty arms dealer.
Stephan was so gentle and sweet with Marisol. Even though he had a dangerous job to do, he still tried extremely hard to get to know Marisol and earn her trust. He came clean with her and told her about his job, yet she continued to keep secrets and was more concerned about lying to Stephan. When it came to a head, I felt she should have apologized or done more to prove to Stephan she was sorry for her deception.
This books ends with a loose end and pushes us right into the next one in the series. Again there was a HFN ending for the main characters.

Power Unleashed is the third book in the Miami Scorcher paranormal novella Series. The main characters are Paz, Marisol’s sister from the previous book and Adam, an enforcer with the counsel for werewolves.
First off, I have a question. Why does Paz’ wolf take on the appearance of a Cocker Spaniel dog when she shifts? I don’t recall in any of the other paranormal books I’ve read (and I’ve read a lot) where “wolf” shifters look like dogs when they shift. Same goes for any other kind of shifter for that matter. Aren't they supposed to look like the kind of animal shifter they are? Makes no sense whatsoever.
I liked both Adam and Paz. Adam was really old and had been alone for a very long time. Meeting Paz gave him hope and made him realize how desperately he wanted someone in his life. He was really sweet and would do anything to protect his mate. Paz was scared of Adam at first because of her secret that she’s also part fairy. However she learned that Adam was more than what she thought.
There was a HFN ending. Thomas’ book is next.

Dangerous Craving is the fourth book in the Miami Scorcher paranormal novella Series. This is Thomas’s book who is Nick’s and Stephan’s oldest brother and the next in line after their father to become alpha. This has been my favorite in the series so far.
Thomas and Nissa were both head strong and both of them still loved the other desperately. Thomas knew he messed up, and he didn’t waste any time letting Nissa know how much he regretted his actions. Nissa tried to keep her distance, but the chemistry and pull between she and Thomas was too strong. I respected Thomas for apologizing and I respected Nissa for realizing he was truly sorry. She played a small part and was also a little to blame for what happened in the past, so I was glad they moved past it.
HFN ending.

Considering Ethan was in his 30s and became a wolf shifter after he was injected by a crazy doctor, I thought the guy was pretty solid. He was grateful for the Lazos pack for taking him in and was a really nice guy. Once he set his sights on Caro, he was determined to convince her to give them a chance. Caro was stubborn but I mostly liked her character. She took holding a grudge against men to an all new level. I was glad she realized Ethan was worth the risk.

Never read about werewolf before, but these stories were excellent and I enjoyed every single one. I always enjoy Katie Reus' books and these were no exception. Highly recommend this series.

Glad it's a set
I'm glad I got whole set all at once since each book kind of continues into the next.
Each book is a standalone, no cliffhangers, but the overall storyline is continuous.
I hope Shea gets her own story.

Shifter Bonds: Miami Scorcher Series Box Set is written by Savannah Stuart, who is also Katie Reus who definitely always writes books to keep you hooked and coming back for more. I have never been disappointed in any of her books. This set has the 5 books in this series. Wow! It is hot!! This is a paranormal set about shifters, it is set in Miami and they are from the Lazos pack, they guys are very alpha, and gorgeous and the ladies are feisty, saucy and smart. They combine to make sizzling stories that will keep you turning to pages to see how it turns out. As I said before, this is HOT, sizzling sexual hot!! If you are not into that, these might not be for you. If you are okay with that, you will love these stories. I do not feel like you could read them individually as standalone books. The books flow from one story line into another very smoothly. They are thrillers with HEA’s.

I really don’t know why I missed the fact that Savannah Stuart was another pen name for Katie Reus. If I’ve known it before, I would devour books by Savannah Stuart as well. Well, the genre might be a bit different, but it’s still in my taste. And as the writer was actually one and the same, the way the story flows were also just as great. I’m lucky enough to received this copy from the author in exchange for an honest review. Believe me, I was not compensated nor I required to write a positive review. Opinion in this review is solely mine. But how could I not give a positive review on this one? It’s GREAT!
These are the Shifter Bonds Miami box set, included 5 full stories that had shifter(s) in each and every story. I would have categorized this book as contemporary naughty paranormal romance with suspense twist. There were some elements of suspense here, but not really took the shine out off the main characters’ relationship story. Not for me, at least. These books length were just right for me, the tones were perfect and extremely enjoyable. Yes, there were more sex scenes than what Katie Reus’ books normally had, but I like it. I would say that those sex scenes were adding more spices to the story. It’s perfect!
So, if you love paranormal stories, a little suspense and lots of hot (flaming, really) scenes, then this box set is for you. However, if you don’t like many sex scenes, well, I think this one is not your cup of tea.

The Lazos Pack is well respected in Miami. They are known to be fair and honorable. Now they are in turmoil as they face a new challenge. The Lazos are finding forever love. Shifter Bonds is a boxed set that includes all five stories about these wolf shifters and their pack mates. If you enjoy fierce Alphas who are always in command and the feisty women who are fated to be their mates, you'll love this series. Savannah Stuart/Katie Reus pulled me in from the first page. These novellas are filled with supernatural beings, passionate romance and non-stop action. Miami and its sultry atmosphere is the perfect background for these shifters to claim there mates. I loved that the women were as strong and passionate as their partners. The dialogue is smart and sassy and made me smile. The Lazos don't take no for an answer but they can be tender with those they care for. I enjoyed seeing love change them. The Miami Scorcher Series lives up to its name. A perfect treat for the fan of Paranormal romances.

Carly needed a change. Nick needed help in the office. These two start working together and the sparks start flying.
Marisol will do anything to get what she wants. Including getting close to someone to get it. Stephan is not what Marisol thinks.
Paz has kept part of herself hidden from everyone. Can she keep it hidden from the Council's Enforcer, Adam.
Nissa ran away. She needed to keep her secret safe. Thomas never forgot her. When Nissa runs to Thomas for protection he will do everything
needed to protect her.
Ethan was made to be like them. He was still adjusting to every change that he had gone through. Caro wants to help. But she wants to keep her distance, protecting herself.
Everyones' story pulled me in and I kept reading late into the night. I am hoping there will be more in this series.

This is a great book; this is a boxed set with books 1-5 of the Miami Scorcher Series written by Savannah Stuart/ Katie Reus. Set in beautiful, sunny Florida, the Miami Scorcher series features sexy dominant, alpha werewolves brought to their knees by their new mates. Whether the story features a DEA agent, club owner, a tattooed up mechanic, an enforcer or a former soldier the one thing these sexy wolves have in common is they burn up the sheets and are willing to protect the women they love at any cost. This is a great boxed set with the complete series. Each book in this set has a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night. If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author.

The books are hot, the men and women are hot, and the sex is SUPER hot. Although these are supernatural beings, they definitely have human emotions, amped to the nth degree. I enjoyed every book in the series, my favorites being Dangerous Cravings and Desire Unleashed. Those stories were a little more emotional (to me) and tugged at the heartstrings more than the rest, but they were all very good.

Shifter Bonds is a five book collection of the Miami Scorcher Series. Each book can be read as a stand alone. This collection features the Lazos Pack (werewolves) which is a steamy paranormal romantic suspense. I enjoyed the dynamic of the characters as well as the story lines. Each one being different and not a continuation of the first book. This series seemed to get better with each subsequent book. It kept me intrigued and entertained. I really like when the books are bundled into one collection. I received a copy of this for my honest review. If you enjoy the Red Stone Security Series (romantic suspense) or the Darkness Series (paranormal) by Katie Reus, I highly recommend Shifter Bonds.

You don't have to wonder who's next because the series is in one complete collection. If you've enjoyed Katie's stories already, you will enjoy these. If you're new to Katie, pick this up and enjoy.

The name says it all. The Miami Scorcher Series Box Set it hotttttt!!! Beautiful Miami is the setting and each story will draw you in from the beginning. The interaction between the strong alpha males and the equally strong women who capture their hearts will have you eagerly turning the page to find out what happens next. The Lazos brothers and their pack mates can't believe their good fortune but they refuse to let it slip away. They will do anything to protect and keep the women that were meant for each of them.

This series had me hooked from beginning to end. It was so good that I had a hard time putting it down unless I had work or sleep. The Lazos family is one you would like one your side when things get dicey. Family and justice is what they are about as well as the happiness of life. I can't wait to read them again.

Fab boxset and I did enjoy all books. It was certainly hard picking a favourite and it was lovely how all the stories entwined.
